The Moroccan national team achieved a historic achievement and became the first Arab and African team to reach the golden square of the World Cup, after its exciting victory over its Portuguese counterpart 1-0 today, Saturday, at Al-Thumama Stadium, in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
The Moroccan national team owes credit for this victory to Youssef Al-Nusairi – the Spanish striker of Seville – who scored the decisive goal in the 42nd minute.
Morocco made a distinguished career in the World Cup in Qatar, leading its group with 7 points from a goalless draw with Croatia, then beating Belgium 2-0, and Canada 2-1, then the historic penalty shootout victory over Spain in the round of 16.
I, in turn, had a special touch throughout the World Cup behind the Moroccan national team by achieving graphic images in every match, and the match between Morocco and Portugal was the exception due to the historical relations between the two countries over the past centuries.

Historic qualification for the golden square of the World Cup
Morocco was the first writer of history in the African continent at the level of the World Cup by winning the first draw and the first skipping the first round, and now it is renewing the writing of history by reaching the semi-finals and hitting a fiery date with France.
